FACETS Sri Lanka is the flagship event of the Sri Lanka Gem and Jewellery Association and it has become a benchmark for the Gem & Jewellery industry. 28 years of showcasing SriLanka’s unique Gem and Jewellery products to the world, by paving a way to exports for local entrepreneurs, by building strong local and international trade linkages at every level of the industry, by building an international image for our industry and for our nation and by bringing the global Gem and Jewellery stage to our doorstep, the achievements and the contribution of FACETS INTERNATIONAL GEM AND JEWELLERY SHOW has been significant.

We analysed the event marketing and event management needs of our client. To give a golden touch to their event, we came up with the solution of our gold package of event marketing.

HOW WE DID IT?

Measuring the right KPIs

Commodity- We provide oDASH ( a commodity to ease the life of event profs). This allows real-time management of the event listing/website/app. oDASH is basically an organiser's dashboard from where an organiser can manage content, interaction, analytics, feedback and whatnot. It is an all-in-one event management platform. As a part of oDASH, one can easily create a white-label native app within a few clicks. Thus, our client didn't find a need to hire developers for their event app/website which helped in cost-cutting for the event. Also, 100% branding of white-label apps was an add-on for event marketing. Events these days are heavily influenced by technology, which is more of a need than a luxury. Getting onboard on new technology isn't always easy and we understand it. This is why our campaign team was available to our client in order to ensure that the client gets the most out of our services. Be it the demonstration of oDASH or the insights on event marketing, a dedicated team of campaign managers made sure that the overall campaign gets smoothly executed.

Community- We take pride in calling ourselves the world’s largest event discovery platform. With a website that generates massive traffic, our global community of B-2-B event-goers is a goldmine for event organisers. This helps us provide event promotions across the target country/city/industry listing page. This community also acts as an add-on for our event management software oDASH. From oDASH, our client could easily manage the event listing on our website. When the event got listed on the website, its visibility was significantly boosted up, helping it find its hidden potential. It was because of our rich event community that like-minded professionals interested in the event could easily interact with one other on the listing page. And the best part, this interaction could be monitored and encouraged by the client from the dashboard. Visitors are more likely to attend the event once they become part of a like-minded community. This is exactly what happened and the event got a significant boost in both footfall and the ROI. Our event community is a differentiator as it gives us in-depth event insights. Commodity when coupled with the community can do wonders and this was clear in the final results obtained.


Credibility- The success of an event is defined by the ROE (return of the event). We go beyond impressions to generate actual ROE and this makes the core of our marketing strategy where we track key metrics. Our intent-driven emailer campaign took the event buzz to the right audience.
